Ch. 9 CHRONICLE'S Tiffany Eddy signing off

Tiffany Eddy signing off; will start own business

MANCHESTER — After 14 years with the station as an anchor, reporter and host of “New Hampshire Chronicle,” Tiffany Eddy has decided to leave WMUR.

“This decision did not come easy. I will always treasure my time at WMUR. It has been an honor to work with so many great and talented people, and an absolute privilege to serve New Hampshire viewers,” said Eddy. “But I’m also excited about starting a business and connecting with the community in a different way. I look forward to the new adventure.”

In March of this year, Eddy, who is married to Kennett High graduate Dan Ryan (whose parents are Elaine and Leo Ryan of Interale), took on the additional duties of co-anchoring the station’s newest newscast, WMUR News 9 at 10, which launched on MeTV New Hampshire.

She also currently co-anchors WMUR News 9 Tonight weeknights at 11.

Eddy’s new venture is starting Focus First Communications, a communications consulting firm. She will first be working with Granite State College.

Tiffany Eddy’s last day on WMUR will be Friday, Oct. 12.
